October 2020 to present:
Freelance Entertainment Consultant for cruise lines and land-based enterprises, multi-lingual presentations, preparation of third book for publication, and translation of comedy plays in various languages for production.

February 2015 to October 2020:
Head of Entertainment and Guest Experience for MSC Cruises, Geneva, Switzerland.

November 2013 to January 2015:
Multi-lingual presenter for international events and completing writing my 3rd book for publication in early 2015.

March 2013:
My book “Always Rooms for One More: an Animal Sanctuary's Happiest Tales” was published with a foreword by Sir Patrick Moore. My reading of 6 chapters was broadcast by the BBC.

May 2010 to November 2013:
Cruise Director and performer for Norwegian Cruise Line.

March 2010:
My book “Stars, Staterooms & Stowaways: anecdotes from a colourful career in cruising” was published and won the People’s Book Prize for non-fiction in April 2010.

May 2007 to April 2010:
Cruise Director and artiste (singer and concert pianist) for P&O Cruises.

January 2006 to May 2007:
Translated from English into French and Italian my book and 3 comedy plays. Also developed and supplied entertainment packages for private clients.

1998 to December 2005:
Director of Entertainment for Costa Cruise Line based in Genoa, Italy. Responsible for writing and producing production shows for 11 international cruise ships, auditioning, hiring and training 770 artistes, technicians, cruise staff, musicians, hosts, etc. Translation and English-language dubbing for on-board informative videos. Awarded Costa’s top prize for excellence in 1999 for saving over 2 million dollars while augmenting customer satisfaction. Launched 4 new ships, followed 2 rebuilds and developed special German, French and South American entertainment packages.

Pre-1998:
Cruise Director, Singer/Dancer and Concert Pianist for several cruise lines. Consultant for “V. Ships”, Monaco. Regular performances on French, Italian and Canadian television. Invited by Pope John-Paul II to study at the Vatican’s Secret Archives. Presenter and star singer on Greek television. Winner of best new composer of 1985. Star of the Paris Lido show and “Paris Lido on Tour”. Appeared on French and American TV with Shirley MacLaine, Tom Jones, Sacha Distel. Starred in soap opera “Les 400 Coups de Virginie”. Principal singer/dancer at the Lido Show, Stardust Hotel, Las Vegas. Rotary scholar at Le Conservatoire de Musique, Lausanne. Studied voice under Metropolitan opera star Frances Yeend at West Virginia University.
